About Verona Jones
V. L. Jones is a paranormal enthusiast and a horror writer. She grew up in a haunted house in Washington state, which fueled her passion for the supernatural and monsters. Verona now lives in Tucson, Arizona, which she uses as her home base to explore haunted sites with a history.
V. L. Jones has an MA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing.
Happenings
The Haunted Zone won 2nd place at the BookFest. I am so honored to be included in this anthology, which consists of 21 stories and poems written by female veterans and illustrations.
Romanian Trip
I took a trip to Romania last October, touring a horror enthusiast’s dream. We visited the sites where Vlad the Impaler was born, grew up, lived, and died. For you fellow horror buffs, you know Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ character was based on Vlad the Impaler.
